Why does my gold chain keep breaking?

Gold is a soft metal and is susceptible to stress breaks.  Being careful with your jewelry is key, but buying the correct chain for the use is more important.  Make sure the piece is durable.  Hollow chains are inexpensive to purchase but will require more repairs over time.   Also, some chains come with a guarantee.  Many of our chains come with a lifetime guarantee.  If it breaks for any reason, we’ll replace it.
